Former EVANESCENCE Guitarist Collaborating With AVRIL LAVIGNE?

Former EVANESCENCE guitarist Ben Moody is working with Avril Lavigne "on a track or two" for Avril's upcoming album, according to a posting on the Avril fan site Avrilbandaids.com. Unconfirmed reports suggest Moody may also join Avril's touring band.

Last month, EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee dashed any hopes of Moody rejoining the band — insisting his sudden departure was "for the best".

The band were reportedly shocked when Moody walked out on their tour at the end of October, but Amy claims everyone is happier now he's gone.

"I actually haven't had any contact with Ben at all," she said. "But I hear he's way happier, and I know we all are, so it's for the best.

"It was just kind of an unhealthy situation for everybody. Everyone was really unhappy. I think it was just time to evolve."
